Those Angels

this is Anael, his name was based from the Angel of Love.  but he does not look lovable  at all. I made  a pet  for him (and that cat with wings still has no name) since I think it suits his lazy personality.

this one is called Nathanael. He is an angel of fire. his name was from an angel that is somehow is associated with  fire or the sun. I can't actually remember. he is quite grumpy, but he is calm most of the time. just try not to disturb him that much. he actually breathes fire.

this one is Zuriel, the angel of earth. on his original design, he only has one wing.  but, I find  a pair of wings suited  him better. what inspired me with this design is Brandon Boyd's look in Incubus' Certain Shade Of Green MV.

Hadriel, the angel of wind. nothing much to say about her, but  her hair style was in fact inspired by Azula's hairstyle from  Avatar: The Legend of Aang.

Kutiel, the angel of water. the wings were inspired by Hitsugaya Toshiro's BanKai mode.  my  friend said that he kinda looks like Iro, (Zuko's uncle from Avatar: The Legend of Aang) but I didn't notice it til then. despite the old age, he is quite lively and much more mischievous than any of the other angels earlier.

these are the angel character designs I was talking about. I almost get tired of drawing these. (but I did get fed up drawing those) I plan to make illustrations involving them.

I came up with these elemental angels because I was so inspired by the 4 nations from Avatar, and their bending.

The Dullahan

I was inspired drawing my own version of a dullahan because of the anime Durarara! I wanted to include this picture in my portfolio but my professor rejected it. I still like it anyways, it's still my favorite among the drawings I made for my portfolio.
